The Channel Vision NVR-04N network video recorder (NVR) can be used to facilitate residential security system recording to capture events as they happen.
Adding to its line of security products, the West Coast company has introduced its NVR-04N network video recorder (NVR) to support digital residential security system installations.
The company says the NVR operates in four-channel mode and is designed to provide dealers with a flexible solution that can be set up in a variety of modes to best service clients.
“Channel Vision’s new NVR has been highly anticipated for its features, settings and integration options——many of which are novel technologies among NVRs,” says Darrel Hauk, president and CEO of Channel Vision. “The automatic networking feature also makes setup of the NVR extremely user friendly for the installer.”

Channel Vision points out this technology automatically locates and adds IP cameras to the network as the dealer installs them. The technology supports IP cameras up to 5 megapixels and includes HDMI.
The NVR also supports the ONVIF protocol. It features an RTSP stream input to allow third-party cameras to integrate with its recording functions.
