4. Feature: fountain pen is handcrafted in Aosta Valley, Italy. The pen body and cap are made with solid sterling silver (925), rose gold and adorned with barley grain guillochè pattern by original antique machines (Parker, 1930). Guillochè is a traditional way of engraving using the diamond cutting tools. It’s a “dying” art as only few artisans are able to maintain these machines and perform beautiful vintage engravings. Each writing instrument with a rhombus-shaped stamp encasing the mark “*AO 28”. These stamps to insure that true silver 925 complied by both compulsory Italian and European law.
The fountain pens are updated with double-use refilling system - both converter or cartridges can be used.
The fountain pen is enhanced with a rhodium-plated steel nib, Medium size tip. Other (Fine, Extra Fine, Broad) nib sizes are available on request without any charge. Also on special request with extra charges, you also can upgrade the pen with solid gold 18 kt nibs ("F", "M", "B" and stub/calligraphic nibs) both in yellow and white gold 18 kt. Available in rollerball or ballpoint pen version.
