The pen body and cap are made of solid sterling silver 925 decorated with vintage guillochè design. Guillochè is a traditional way of engraving using the diamond cutting tools. It’s a “dying” art as only few artisans are able to maintain these machines and perform beautiful vintage engravings.
Each writing instrument with a rhombus-shaped stamp encasing the mark “*AO 28” which is to insure that we are using solid silver 925 complied with both compulsory Italian and European law.
Twist cap opening. The fountain pens are updated with double-use refilling system - both converter or cartridges can be used.
The fountain pen has a Medium steel nib. Fine, Extra Fine, Broad nib sizes or a rollerball version are available on request without any charge.
Also, you can purchase for the pen a solid gold 18 kt nib ( F, M, B and stub/calligraphic nibs both in yellow and white gold)
