Solid sterling silver cap and grip section hallmarked 925 are accented with classical guillochè  pattern. Guillochè is a traditional way of engraving using the diamond cutting tools. It’s a “dying” art as only few artisans are able to maintain these machines and perform beautiful vintage engravings. Each writing instrument with a rhombus-shaped stamp encasing the mark “*AO 28”. These stamps to insure that true silver 925 complied by both compulsory Italian and European law.
The pen features stainless steel Medium-sized nib. Other nib sizes Fine, Extra Fine, Broad are available on request without any surcharge. Also, you can upgrade the pen with a solid gold 18 K nib including stub/calligraphic nibs.
