4. Feature: fountain pen is handcrafted in Aosta Valley, Italy. The pen body and cap are made with solid sterling silver (925) and decorated with beautiful lotus flower and adorned with barleycorn guillochè pattern. Guillochè is a traditional way of engraving using the diamond cutting tools. It’s a “dying” art as only few artisans are able to maintain these machines and perform beautiful vintage engravings. Each writing instrument with a rhombus-shaped stamp encasing the mark “*AO 28”. These stamps to insure that we are using solid silver 925 complied by both compulsory Italian and European law.
The fountain pens are updated with double-use refilling system - both converter or cartridges can be used.
The fountain pen is enhanced with a polished stainless steel nib, Medium size. Fine, Extra Fine, Broad nib sizes and rollerball version are available on request without any charge. Also, with extra charges, you can upgrade the pen with solid gold 18 kt nibs (F, M, B and stub/calligraphic nibs) both in yellow and white gold 18 kt.
