The finger grip section of the pen is made of solid silver 925 and engraved with elegant guilloche pattern. Guillochè is a traditional way of engraving using the diamond cutting tools. It’s a “dying” art as only few artisans are able to maintain these machines and perform beautiful vintage engravings.
Each writing instrument with a rhombus-shaped stamp encasing the mark “*AO 28”. These stamps to insure that true silver 925 complied by both compulsory Italian and European law.
The pen has rose gold plated 18 kt steel Medium size nib. Other (Fine, Extra Fine, Broad and very Broad) nib sizes are available on request without any additional charge. We can upgrade the fountain pen with solid gold 18 kt nibs (including stub/calligraphic nibs). The fountain pen can be fulfilled in a rollerball version.
