In which, electricity supplied to industry only increased by 1.22% over the same period. period 2019; Electricity supplied to commercial services continued to decline - these are the two load components that have been most affected since the Covid-19 epidemic. However, electricity for consumption management still increased by 6.54% over the same period last year, one of the main reasons was due to the prolonged hot weather on a large scale.
Regarding power transmission: In August, the transmission trend is mainly in the direction of North - Central and Central - South. The highest transmission rate on the North-Central transmission system is 1,820 MW and the Central-South transmission is 3,465 MW. Electricity transmission in 8/2020 reached 17.16 billion kWh. Accumulated 8 months reached 136.69 billion kWh, up 1.4% over the same period in 2019.
About customer service:
- The percentage of customers paying non-cash electricity bills by August 2020 reaches 61.5%. The percentage of electricity bills without using cash for the whole EVN is 88.1%.
- Deal with customer requests through service delivery channels:
+ Accumulated in 8 months, it received over 6 million electricity service requests; in which, the percentage of requests to receive directly at customer transaction offices accounts for 5.08%; received through Center for Customer Care, Center of Public Administration, Public Service accounts for 94.92%; Particularly the number of requests received and resolved through the Internet channel (National Service Portal, website of customer care service, App CSKH, Zalo ...) accounts for 10.13%.
+ Providing services through the National Public Service Portal for 8 months received 258,561 requests (accounting for 77.43% of total requests to provide all public services by Ministries / Departments / localities on the Portal National Public Service), at the same time, in August 2020, EVN also cooperated with the Government Office and VNPT to complete the conversion of electricity bill payment services to the payment platform of the National Public Service Portal.
+ The rate of receiving requests to provide electronic services by the whole EVN reached 70.76% (exceeding 20.76% compared to the plan).
Rooftop solar PV installation: In the first eight months of 2020, the whole country has installed 25,706 rooftop solar power projects with a total capacity of 758.2 MWp. Up to now, nearly 50,000 rooftop solar power projects have been put into operation with a total capacity of nearly 1,200 MWp.
Regarding construction investment, in August 2020, EVN has directed units to make efforts, focus on implementing construction investment tasks, speeding up the progress of projects under construction such as Thuong hydropower project. Kon Tum, expanded Da Nhim hydropower project, Se San 4 solar power project, Quang Trach power center infrastructure ... Regarding power grid investment, in 8 months, 93 projects have been started and complete energizing 84 projects of 110 - 500kV power grid (including: 9 500kV projects, 10 220kV projects, 65 110kV projects) ... Especially, to overcome the overload situation in Ninh Thuan area, Binh Thuan because renewable energy sources (RE) have been put into operation simultaneously in a very short time, EVN and its member units have gathered all resources and implemented synchronous solutions in mind. investment in construction to speed up the progress of power grid projects to release the capacity of RE power sources. Recently, the units put into operation 21 power grid projects from 110 kV to 500 kV serving the release of RE power sources with a total line length of over 750 km and transformer stations with a total capacity of 5,025 MVA. in which, a number of key projects have been over-completed, such as: raising the capacity of 500kV stations in Vinh Tan and Di Linh; to increase the capacity of Thap Cham and Ham Tan 220 kV stations; to complete and put into operation the new 220 kV stations such as Ninh Phuoc and Phan Ri; New investment and upgrading 110kV lines in the region ... Up to now, the transmission grid infrastructure has basically satisfied the discharge of the full capacity of 113 solar and wind power projects. Put into operation with a total capacity of over 5,700MW (including projects operating before June 30, 2019 and new projects put into operation in 2020).
Regarding electricity supply in rural, mountainous and island areas: On August 21, 2020, Central Power Corporation completed and technically energized the project "Supplying electricity by 22 kV submarine cable to Nhon Chau island. , TP. Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh Province ”. The project provides electricity to 520 households, officials and soldiers on Nhon Chau island, exceeding the expected schedule.
Some working objectives and tasks of EVN in September 2020.
According to the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting, in September 2020, the common average temperature is equivalent to the average of many years. The ENSO phenomenon tends to decrease but still remains in the neutral state. Due to abnormal weather changes as well as the effects of the Covid-19 epidemic, the expected low load growth, the average power consumption of the whole system is expected to be 663 million kWh / day, with large capacity. estimated at 34,360 MW.
Power system operation objectives in September 2020: Exploit coal-fired thermal power and gas turbine according to the optimal results of hydroelectricity - thermal power; mobilize highly hydropower plants with good water flow and ensure water supply requirements for localities downstream. Improved availability of power plants. Power generation corporations and thermal power companies continue to require coal supply units of TKV and Northeastern Corporation to ensure coal supply to meet the mobilization needs of the system. Safe and reliable operation of the transmission grid, especially the North-South 500kV system. Besides, the units need to well perform the task of preventing and fighting against Covid-19 epidemics and ensure stable production and supply of electricity for production and business activities, as well as the daily life of the people; especially, provide safe and stable electricity for isolation, medical examination and treatment facilities and treatment of suspected Covid-19 infected patients.
Construction investment: Complete installation of all panels and equipment for the test of Se San 4 solar power project, ensuring the completion of power generation in October 2020. Continue to focus on construction forces, overcome difficulties caused by the COVID-19 epidemic, focus on the implementation of key transmission grid projects such as projects for connection, test power supply testing the BOT thermal power plants of Hai Duong, Nghi Son 1, Van Phong 1; projects to release the capacity of RE resources; projects to release the capacity of hydroelectricity sources in the Northwest, projects in service of Laos' electricity purchase; projects to ensure power supply for the city. Hanoi, the South and key economic regions ...
In addition, in September 2020, EVN continues to direct General Corporations / Power Companies to prepare sufficient human resources and facilities, to increase direct response 24/24; proactively responding to natural disasters, storms and floods, ensuring safety for people, equipment, electrical works and ensuring safety of dams, hydropower plants, reservoir downstream areas ...
