The system of livestock breeding facilities usually has 2 types: Closed barn and open barn

1: For closed barn

• Breeding in closed pens can be widely applied to different animals such as pig farms, chicken farms…. • When installing the ventilation system, cooling, we need to research and survey the climate temperature where the barn is located. The climate in Vietnam has 4 seasons per year, the most extreme being summer and winter, which greatly affects the health and growth of the animals. For areas with high temperatures, the installation of ventilation and cooling systems must ensure air conditioning and temperature in the barn to help animals have high resistance and rapid growth.

• The baffle system between the breeding cells determines the location to install the machine system. For breeding facilities with sealed brick walls, the required mounting position must be higher than the partition wall. In case the partition wall is designed with a grid system, a ventilated steel frame, we can install the machine at the foot of the wall.

• The type of pets is also a factor to consider when installing ventilation and cooling systems. For small animals with low resistance (such as broilers), a fan system with large capacity should not be installed. For animals with good size and resistance such as buffaloes, cows, pigs ... should install a fan system with a large capacity to save costs of equipment purchase and installation.

• The amount of livestock manure and livestock density are also important. For pets, the food is mainly green vegetables (fiber), the amount of excrement is often much but less odor. For animals, the main feed is industrial bran, the excrement has a very large amount of odor, causing pollution to the breeding system. We need to pay attention to install the ventilation system in the right position to ensure that all the odors are absorbed from the cage, helping the air inside the cage to always be ventilated.

2: For open barn

• Ventilation system for open barn is also designed and installed based on the same principles as closed cage. However, for the open-house model, the semi-natural design has many openings, in addition to reducing the temperature, it must also ensure to absorb all the smells inside the cage, especially in winter, on rainy days. when the cage is covered by a tarpaulin system.
