- Recloser circuit breakers (RECs) are widely used on outdoor distribution grids, with a voltage level of 22(35)kV, to prevent transient faults and/or coordinate protection with outgoing circuit breakers to automatically isolate the faulty part, restore power supply to the rest of the system, reduce power outage time, and contribute to improving grid reliability.
- The equipment includes a digital integrated control cabinet, including: a main controller integrating measurement, protection, data communication, SCADA, etc.; a control power supply (switching/opening), communication interface (Modem), integrated automatic protection and transfer switch (ATS) function; and a backup power supply (2 x 12VDC-18AH batteries).
- Designed, manufactured, tested, and produced according to IEC 62271-111 standards. - Intermediate insulation using solid (Epoxy) or SF6 gas insulation; Vacuum contacts capable of handling a high number of switching cycles, exceeding 10,000.
- Magnetic actual switching mechanism ensures reliable, durable, and maintenance-free switching.
- Built-in current and voltage sensors provide operating parameters for the equipment and grid, meeting protection, remote control, and grid data communication requirements for smart grids according to IEC 60870-5-101/104 or DNP3.0 standards.
- The device is capable of automatically coordinating switching of segments in grids equipped with a Digital Automated Switching System (DAS).
