Day 1: 7:45 am: Depart from our office to My Tho by A/C bus one and a half hours, bus ride passing rice fields. Discover the Mekong Delta by motorized boat (discover 4 Islands: Tortoise, Dragon, Phoenix and Unicorn Island), rowing boat and horse – drawn carriage or local transport “xe loi”. Here you can join in to daily activities of the local people and enjoy the atmosphere cruise along small canal. Discover the water way, see stilling houses.
Boat cruise to Ben Tre, stopping at a coconut candy workshop ( taste candy), enjoy honey bee with tea or rice wine. Relax by listening to traditional music and enjoy tropical fruits. Have Vietnamese lunch on the Island.
Trekking along the village. Return My Tho by boat, bus going to Can Tho. Over night in Can Tho.
Day 2: Cruising along the small and picturesque tributaries by rowing boat, we will see the Cai Rang floating market. Take in the beautiful scenery and the daily activities of the local people….
After lunch , take a bus to go to Chau Doc on the way stop over in Tra Su forest for sightseeing. On arrival, check in hotel. Have free time to visit around and enjoy the sunset here.
Day 3: In Chau Doc, we will enjoy climbing up Sam Mountain to visit the Cavern Pagoda and view the beautiful scenery of the Cambodian border. A rowing boat will take us to floating villages and floating fish farms, landing at the village of Cham, an Islamic minority people in Vietnam. Visit the home of Cham weavers and the local mosque. Go back Saigon by bus. End trip.
