Monkeys and snakes rescued in Ha Tinh

Information from Vu Quang National Park (Ha Tinh province) said that it has just coordinated with the authorities to release 30 individuals of wild monkeys and snakes into the natural forest environment, received from the "Hoang Lien Rescue, Conservation Center and Biological Development" in Hoang Lien National Park (Lao Cai).

Accordingly, 30 individuals of endangered and rare forest animals were rescued into the natural forest of Vu Quang National Park, including 20 monkeys (2 Macaca Mulatta, 5 Macaca assamensis, 5 red-faced macaques, 8 Macaca arctoides); 10 snakes (4 Naja atra, 5 Ophiophagus hannah, 1 Bungarus caeruleus).

Leaders of Vu Quang National Park said that Hoang Lien National Park's handover of 30 wild animals to the unit is part of a cooperation program to coordinate the rescue and release of wild animals. This program also aims to separate herds into different areas to create efficiency in conservation work.
