RMIT University kicked off a series of seminars themed "Higher Education in the Digital Age" for Vietnamese managers and lecturers from March 29.
This is a continuation of a series of seminars and in-depth seminars on online education and improving digitalisation in education conducted by RMIT University, the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training, and an Australian higher education expert. and Vietnam from 2020.
The series of events is organized with the goal of developing the Community of Practice (COP) founded and led by RMIT. This organization has the participation of many universities in Vietnam to discuss and share teaching and learning experiences in the digital age.

As announced at the opening ceremony on March 29, with a series of in-depth seminars, RMIT will provide the best information, skills and technology applied in Australia; promote cooperation between education experts of the two countries; capacity building in higher education in Vietnam.
At intensive training seminars, participants will have the opportunity to interact with RMIT experts, develop skills and knowledge in using digital innovations in learning and teaching.

At the same time, through a combination of lectures, interactive sessions and hands-on activities, at the end of the training series, educators will better understand the role of digitalization in improving the quality of lessons, enhancing student engagement and satisfaction. From there, participants can enhance the capacity of schools and the higher education sector in Vietnam.
Following the pilot workshop, RMIT will expand its offering of training courses to a wider audience in the higher education sector in Vietnam.
Associate Professor Seng Kiat Kok - Acting Director of Student Affairs at RMIT University said that the university wants to become an active contributor to society and the region. The role of the school is to try to improve different ways of teaching and learning; capacity building of the next generation of trainers; at the same time, contribute to the development of students and the community.
Besides, the unit prioritizes the commitment to promote and develop opportunities from simple things like advanced technology. We will continuously evaluate the effectiveness of our commitments to Vietnam and see what we can do to contribute to the country. the whole of Vietnam and the region," he affirmed.

Professor Claire Macken - General Director of RMIT Vietnam also said that the unit is ready to share its international leadership experience and advanced resources with Vietnamese educational institutions to improve the quality of education. domestic university. By working together, institutions can turn a digital education opportunity into a milestone for Vietnam.
