Vision and mission

The scientific and technical revolution has helped the human society to develop remarkably; people become more intelligent and complete; the quality of life improves more and more. So what is that revolution? Where did it come from? It is quite easy to notice that most spectacular scientific and technical achievements come from countries with a developed economy and an advanced education; and they have a great influence on our life. They are widely applied in many fields such as: medicines, education, communication, transportation…and are an indispensible part of the daily life. Have you ever wondered “How can they create such miracles? With the same brains and hands, why can’t we do things like them? Or are they genius with outstanding knowledge since born?”
 

There are many answers for those questions but this following is the most reasonable one: one’s success is created 99% from effort of learning and studying and 1% from innate talents. Here we talk about the effort of learning of each individual – a significant factor leading to one’s success – to see how important it is towards individuals’ achievements in particular and humanity in general. This means that whatever environments and situations you are in, you have to try your best to study and obtain knowledge to broaden your mind and shorten your way to your success. In addition, a significant factor that stimulates the effort of learning of each individual is environments – which create opportunities, situations, circumstances, advantages and disadvantages for you to express, develop and improve your capacity. Therefore, environments are said to have an enormous impact in a positive way for ones to develop their personalities and capacity.
 Our compatriots are famous for our hard-working, tolerance, and eager towards learning. These personalities can easily be found in Vietnamese students, so we can assume that our students have already possessed one of the two keys to the door of success. If you can combine this factor with the suitable environment, you will be like a fish in the water and fully develop your capacity. Suitable environments can be everywhere from inside our countries to foreign nations with advanced economies, developed educations and modern technologies. They have a lot of great things to offer us. Therefore, in order to obtain modern knowledge, many generations of Vietnamese students have chosen to study abroad – the shortest and most effective way to get access to professional and advanced educational methods to create a solid foundation for you to conquer higher levels in education. Study abroad is a legitimate need and dream of many Vietnamese students. In recent years, many former international students have greatly contributed in the development of our country by using the knowledge you obtain abroad. Furthermore, our society is in need of high quality human resources to serve the purpose of developing our country. Understanding that, our government encourages students to study abroad because knowledge is not only useful for personal purposes but also can be used to serve our community and society. More importantly, study abroad can help shorten the knowledge distance between Vietnamese students and other countries’ students. This was also the way that our President Ho Chi Minh had chosen before. The significant success of the Revolution under Uncle Ho’s leadership is a specific proof for his right decision. Uncle Ho also expressed his opinion about studying abroad as following:

  “…to help free our nation from the yoke of colonialism, we must come to those colonial countriese to see for ourselves their nature and how they operate…”
