Improve English skills for teenagers

On May 17, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Central Council of Young Pioneers coordinated with Dai Truong Phat Education Group to organize the regional semi-finals of the playground "Vietnamese Children - Reaching out to the world". 

According to Vice Chairman of the Central Council of the Young Pioneers, Director of the Center for Supporting and Developing Vietnamese Children Le Anh Quan, in order to concretize the Project "Building a learning society in the period of 2021 - 2030" and the Project "Improving foreign language capacity and international integration for Vietnamese children and adolescents in the period of 2022 - 2030" of the Prime Minister; Create conditions for children and adolescents to improve their social understanding, learn about the beauty of traditional culture of the nation, historical relics, and scenic spots of the homeland and country, thereby helping them participate in integration, contributing to promoting the image of Vietnam to international friends as well as strengthening the coordination of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Organization with families, schools and society to support and accompany children and adolescents in competing to study, develop capacity, self-improvement, and improve English skills through learning, living and entertainment activities, the Central Council of the Young Pioneers deploy the playground "Vietnamese Children - Reaching out to the world" in 2024.

After more than 4 months, the playground has received nearly 15,000 entries with nearly 20,000 children registering to participate in the online round. The Organizing Committee has selected 100 excellent teams nationwide to participate in the semi-finals of the playground "Vietnamese Children - Reaching out to the world" from May 17 to June 10 in Hanoi, Phu Tho, Hai Phong, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Can Tho.

At the regional semi-final round of the playground “Vietnamese Children - Reaching out to the World” held in Ho Chi Minh City with 10 participating teams, the Tan Tien Primary School team (Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City) won the first prize and qualified for the final round scheduled to take place in July. The Organizing Committee also awarded 02 Second prizes; 03 Third prizes, 04 Encouragement prizes to the teams participating in the semi-final round.
